October has arrived! Every corner and grocery store is busting with pumpkins and chrysanthemums. If I was not living in south Louisiana, I would swear that it was Fall. I love this time of year when the weather cools off a bit and the Rice Festival rolls into town.By the way, check out that pimp pumpkin in the picture. That was my first (and last) pumpkin that I ever carved. Not too shabby, eh? That was back in one of my old apartments too. OH...how I do miss those times of independence.
