Today is the first day of November, and it seems that the holiday season is now upon us. Today, I could not help but to take notice of how everything is Christmas. Stores are selling Christmas decorations. They have the nicely packaged products, sealed with Christmas cheer. I even noticed that Marshall's plant store, for one, has decorated their Crape Myrtle trees with green and red lights.
I'm confused. Did Thanksgiving already pass?
It seems that every year, we overlook Thanksgiving and jump straight into Christmas. Christmas sells. Oh well, who is really thankful for what they have, anyway.
